The breakfast was delicious and satisfying with plenty of tasty food. the rooms have a classic decor. - the hotel has a marvelous and stunning location in Kalambaka, just a short walk from the main center of town and cafes.

The rooms were clean and attractive with direct view of meteora, felt like home. The hotel was set in a central area so close to a big avenue as well as the city centre.
It had too soft beds, maybe it was bad luck.

The location was good to walk to the monasteries. We did all the monasteries by foot. The first contact with the staff (Maria) who was very polite and helpful in explaining all our doubts about the place. The room was also good.
We had a little incident with a staff from the bar at the reception. We asked her an ice cream and she ended up bringing 3 due to a huge miscommunication. We ended having two ice creams and when we said we had ordered only 1 and that we would have 2, she gave us the angriest sight and turned around without saying anything. After that we could see she was still angry as she was spanking everything in front of her, like placing cups on the table with angry and stuff. That we didn't like. She should have showed far more respect towards us even though she had made a small mistake. It's just an extra ice cream dear. Get over it!

Situation quiet but easy access to town. View of Meteora from our room. Comfy room, good breakfast. Most guests were groups in buses but still catered well for us as independent travellers

- Near to the Meteora-monasteries - Clean rooms
- hotel restaurant (bad food, expensive) - mostly elder people - wifi is not free of charge, incredibly expensive - price/performance ratio is bad

Convenient location near Kalambaka 🌄, cozy vibe. Ate at Land and Sea nearby, it was a quick stroll. the rooms are stylish, equipped with everything you need, and the staff is super welcoming.

Efficient and quiet air conditioning, full length bath quiet room (we were allocated on the back wing) good selection for breakfast.
There did not appear to be a separate entrace/exit from the hotel to the outdoor pool, on one morning we returned to our room to find that the door had been left ajar by the cleaning staff.

Leaving it
Bad quality, bad service, rude staff. Insolent, unwelcoming and unhelpful receptionist. No breakfast service after 9.30 am... ("Because tour buses leave early to visit the Meteora monasteries"). Mediochre and old decoration in room. Staff badly trained and badly disciplined. Stained and soiled carpets in corridors. Abysmal quality of breakfast buffet - tasteless coffee, powder-based orange juice "drink", stale and limited food. Bad personal hygiene of breakfast service staff who also argued with each other loudly while on duty. No refreshment service at pool unless you went and looked inside the hotel to find someone to order a drink. No room safe for valuables. No hotel written guide or information in room or on the room tv (E.G. to say when breakfast was served, how to use spa or gym, how to secure valuables, list of hotel services etc). The place was once good, but is now like the bad old days in Greece with staff giving the impression it operates only for their benefit and convenience and where minimum effort and provision is acceptable.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
